    • Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, September 25, 1884 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Died - In Belmond, Iowa, September 5, 1884, A. Hamilton Meacham, aged 64 years. The deceased was the son of the veteran Jabez Meacham, formerly of this town. He was born in Sandy Creek and lived in that town and in Pulaski village until some years after his marriage when he removed to Bloomingdale, Illinois, and from there to Belmond. His wife was Henrietta Ingersoll, a native of Richland town, and whose relatives still live here. Eight children survive their father. The deceased died of heart disease, suddenly, and in the night, before any assistance could be rendered him.
