- Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, February 17, 1887 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - South Richland - On Thursday afternoon, Leonard Nutting of South Richland was found in his barn in a state of unconsciousness. Dr. Low was called immediately who gave no hope. He lingered in an unconscious state until Saturday at 11 o'clock p.m., when he ceased to breathe. His funeral was held at his late residence at 1 o'clock p.m., on Monday last. His daughter, Mrs. Webster Ingersoll, of Wisconsin, arrived a few hours before he died, but he did not recognize her.
