- Newspaper Obituary - June 6, 1994 Syracuse Herald Journal - Syracuse, New York - RUTH DEWISPELARE - Ruth DeWispelare, 79, died Saturday at Birchwood Health Center. Mrs. DeWispelare was a life resident of Mallory, having retired as a sales clerk at the former H.P. Goettel Hardware in Central Square. She also worked for several years at the Easy Washer Co. She was a member of the Colosse Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Kenneth and Richard, both of Central Square; two daughters, Helen Courbat of Central Square, and Beatrice Smith of Saranac, Mich.; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great- grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Traub Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Mallory. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 110 N. Main St. Contributions may be made to Southern Oswego Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
