Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, March 15, 1951 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mrs. Ingersoll of Sandy Creek Dies - Mrs. Alice C. Ingersoll, 87, widow of W. Oscar Ingersoll of Sandy Creek, died Sunday morning at 3:30 p.m. at the Hillcrest nursing home in Adams where she had been a patient the past two years. Funeral services were held from the Weston and Woodard funeral home in Sandy Creek Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Winton Halstead, pastor of the Sandy Creek Methodist church officiating. Interment was made in Riverside cemetery at Pulaski. She had no immediate survivors except cousins. Mrs. Ingersoll was born in the town of Ellisburg July 18, 1863 and spent her early life in Sandy Creek On October 17, 1894 she married Mr. Ingersoll who died in 1935. They spent their entire life in the Sandy Creek area with the exception of the period from 1897 to 1901 when they ran a farm on Galloup Island.
