Newspaper Obituary - Monday January 11, 1982 Oswego County Messenger - Fulton, New York - Mrs. Elsie A. Fleming, 86, of 7361 Port Street, Pulaski, died Thursday, January 7 at Hillcrest Nursing Home, Oswego. She was born October 22, 1895 in the town of Mexico to Burton and Irene Halsey Clark. She attended Mexico schools. She was married June 26, 1919 to Fordyce W. Fleming at the home of her parents. Fleming, who was employed for many years by New York Central Railroad, died December 1, 1963. Mrs. Fleming was a member of Park United Church in Pulaski, the Alpha Class and the Women's Society Christian Service. She also was a member of the Pulaski Chapter 159, OES, and the Pulaski Civic Club. Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Frank (Mary Jane) Race of Liverpool; and three grandchildren: Barbara Eberz of Jordan, Bernard Race of Baldwinsville and Donald Race of Jordan, and one great-grandson. Services were held at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, the Rev. Dollan Morris officiating. Burial will be in Daysville Cemetery, town of Richland.
