NORTH SYRACUSE - LouAnn Britton, 62, of North Syracuse, passed away on Jan. 2, 2017 at the home of her sister, Amy Ryan.
LouAnn was born on Nov. 21, 1954 to the late Robert H. Britton Sr. and Nancy J. Tourot.
She was employed by L3 Communications Corp of Crestview, Florida, as an inspector of military and civilian aircraft arts for the last four years.
LouAnn loved animals. She was a German Shepard breeder for 17 years. She also showed her dogs in several shows across the United States and Canada.
LouAnn is survived by her brother, Robert Jr. (Sheila), of Fulton; five sisters, Hope Lenhart, of Mexico; Holly (Chester) Slavings, of North Syracuse; Laurie (Robin) Rosser, of South Carolina; Frances (Sandra) Britton, of Red Creek; and Amy (Ellis Barber) Ryan, of North Syracuse; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins; as well as her beloved dog, Lucy and her cats, Leah and Halo.
LouAnn was pre-deceased by her prize champion German Shepard, Selaya Kam.
At LouAnn’s request, the will be no services. A private celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
Donations may be made to Defenders of Wild Life of Hospice of CNY.
Arrangements are in the care of the Harter Funeral Home, Mexico.
