    • Newspaper Obituary - January 21, 2015 Syracuse Post Standard - Syracuse, New York - Rose E. Peck, aged 83, life resident of Williamstown, passed away Tuesday at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse. Rose was born August 15, 1931 in Williamstown, the daughter of William H. and Rose M. Trumble Britton. She attended Altmar High School. Rose married Linton H. Peck on August 5, 1949 and her loving husband of 51 years passed away December 29, 2000. She was employed by Eagle Comtronics in Syracuse for 8 years. She was Charter President and life member of Hastings-Gorski Unit #1128 American Legion in Williamstown. Rose was a member of the Order of the Eastern Start Chapter #159 in Pulaski and a former member of the Williamstown Methodist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Bonny L. Ranke of Taeberg and Pamela J. (Thomas) Hoyt of Altmar; three sons, Bobby L. Peck of Winter Springs, FL, Timothy C. (Theresa) Peck of Richland and Christopher K. (Marlene) Peck of Boylston; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Rose was predeceased by 13 brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, January 24, at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski with a spring burial in Fairview Cemetery in Williamstown. Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday prior to the service. Donations may be made to the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #1128, 8 Vida Drive, Williamstown, NY 13493, or the Williamstown Fire Department, Main Street, Williamstown, NY 13493.
