Newspaper Obituary - June 2, 1909 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Manwarren District - Death has once again been among us and claimed Lewis Fleming, age 38 years. Three weeks ago he was taken ill with pneumonia, then after the crisis was safely passed, pleurisy set in and finally jaundice which in his weakened condition, the physicians were powerless to conquer. The end came Thursday at 1 p.m. The funeral services were held Saturday at the home. Rev. Perry O. Wilcox, officiating, burial was in Daysville cemetery. Lewis was well known here his entire life, with the exception of one year in the west, had been passed among us and will be sadly missed, but it is on the parents the blow falls the hardest as he was constantly with them. He leaves his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Fleming, a sister Mrs. William Reese, of Pulaski, and brother Artie of this place. The sympathy of the entire community is extended to them in their bereavement.
