- Margaret J. Hall, age 77, life resident of Pulaski, passed away, Tuesday at Colonial Park Nursing Home in Rome. Margaret was born July 28, 1947, in Oswego, the daughter of Paul “PV” and Erma Fillmore Phillips. She graduated from Pulaski High School in 1965. She was employed by the Oswego County Department of Social Services as a social worker for over 30 years. Margaret kept active in her retirement, making teddy bears for Golisano Children’s Hospital for many years. She was also a member of the Pulaski Historical Society, Garden Club and Senior Stars in Mexico. Margaret also spent time volunteering at the Pulaski Public Library.
Surviving are her children, Dina (Michael) Critelli of Camden and Brian (Renee) Hall of North Carolina, grandchildren, Matthew, Shane and Justin Critelli and Kyle, William, Parker and Spencer Hall, three brothers, Gary (Judy) Phillips of Pulaski, Dick Phillips of Arizona, and Paul Phillips of Florida, and sisters-in law, Lena Brosnan of Mexico and Sue Lewis of Pulaski. Margaret was predeceased by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm, Friday, November 8th at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski with burial in at the convenience of the family in South Richland Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 11am to 1pm prior to the service.
