Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, November 12, 1891 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Died - In Richland, New York, November 3, 1891, Chauncey Reynolds, aged 76 years, 4 months and 12 days. He was born in Rupert, Vermont, June 22, 1815. In 1825 he came to this state, and January 1, 1839, at Sandy Creek, was married to Miss Polly A. White, of Sandy Creek, and went to housekeeping on the same farm on which he was living at the time of his death, living there 52 years. To them were born five children, Milo and Milton died in infancy. Those living are Mrs. W. H. Potter, of Pulaski, Mrs. M. B. Lighthall, of Richland, and Charles F., who has always lived on the homestead with his parents. In 1882 he united with the Methodist Protestant church, of which he was a member at the time of his death. He was an honest, upright man, a kind husband and father, and a good neighbor. His funeral was largely attended at his late residence. The services were conducted by Rev. Wellington Snyder, who was his pastor some eight years ago, interment at Pulaski cemetery.
Vitals - November 3, 1891 Chauncy C. Reynolds, age 76 years, 4 months, 11 days, Farmer, born in Vermont, Resident of Richland Township for 70 years, Son of Levener Reynolds and Edna White, died in the Town of Richland of gastritis and chronic bronchitis.
