William O. Waters, 77, Deerfield Apartments, died Saturday at Pontiac Nursing Home, Oswego.
Mr. Waters worked for 20 years for the Chenango County Sheriff's Department and was a custom cabinetmaker for 40 years.
He lived in Smyrna for 30 years and in Florida, Texas and Oswego before moving to Pulaski in 1984.
Born April 7, 1921, in Norwich, son of Charles A. and Esther Dougherty Waters, he served in the Army during World War II.
He married Erma Fillmore Phillips on April 14, 1976. She died Feb. 23, 1995.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was scheduled for 1 p.m. today at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, preceded by a calling hour. Spring burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery.
