- ERMA R. WATERS DIES IN SYRACUSE AT AGE 75

Erma R. Waters, 75, Deerfield Apartments, died Thursday at Hill Haven Nursing Home, Syracuse.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home with the Rev. Elizabeth Mowry, pastor of Park United Methodist Church, officiating. Spring burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Park United Methodist Church, Hubble Street, Pulaski, N.Y. 13142.
Surviving are her husband, William; three sons, Richard V. Phillips, Snowflake, Ariz., Gary W. Phillips, Pulaski, and Paul E. Phillips, Sunrise, Fla.; a daughter, Margaret J. Hall, Pulaski; seven grandchildren; a great-granddaughter and a sister, Jane Taylor, Mesa, Ariz.
Born July 5, 1919, in Pulaski, a daughter of Jessie and Helena Fillmore, she graduated from Pulaski Academy High School in 1937.
She married William Waters on April 14, 1976. A previous marriage ended in divorce.
Mrs. Waters was a teachers aide for several years at the Pulaski school and was a member of Park United Methodist Church.
