      Newspaper Obituary - Friday, June 1, 2012 Syracuse Post-Standard - Syracuse, New York - Channie Joyner Jr., age 54, life resident of Pulaski, passed away Thursday at his home. Channie was born August 29, 1957 in Oswego, the son of Channie O. and Minnie Secor Joyner. He attended Sandy Creek Schools. Channie married Donna Holt on July 6, 1980. He was self-employed, doing lawn maintenance and snow removal. He also worked for Novelis for several years and Gardall Safe Company for 10 years. Channie was a member of the Ringgold Fire Company in Pulaski, and a former member of the Richland Fire Department. Surviving: wife, Donna, of Pulaski; one son, Channie L. (Shawnna) of Pulaski; two granddaughters, Ashleigh and Emily; four sisters, Gloria Cole and Verna Kranz, both of Pulaski, Watha Nash of Florida, and Debbie Curry of Lyons; and one brother, Hugh Joyner of Richland. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, at the Ringgold Fire Department, 12 Lake Street, Pulaski, with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Pulaski. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Ringgold Fire Department. Arrangements by Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski.
