Newspaper Obituary - Monday, August 5, 1991 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Ruth D. Sanderson, 74, Dies - Ruth D. Sanderson, 74, of Springbrook Apartments, died Friday evening at the home of her daughter, Patricia Ingraham, Sandy Pond. The funeral was at 10 a.m. today at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, with the Rev. Virgil Hager, pastor of the First Baptist Church, Sandy Creek, officiating. Burial will be in Daysville Cemetery in the town of Richland. Surviving besides Mrs. Ingraham are two other daughters, Carol Boswell, St. Louis, Mo., and Mrs. Donna Ballou, Richland; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; six great- great-grandchildren; her mother, Marian Wayman, Rome; a sister, Dorothy Yarsites, Middleboro, Massachusetts; and several nieces and nephews. A daughter, Janet, died in 1965. Bom April 16, 1917, at Battle Creek, Michigan, a daughter of Cecil and Marian Pope Davis, she attended schools in Rome. She married Harrison N. Sanderson on June 12, 1947, before moving to Pulaski. Mr. Sanderson died in 1977. Mrs. Sanderson was a member of the Robert Edwards Post American Legion Auxiliary for 27 years, and was a past officer of the auxiliary. She was also a member of the Retired Seniors Volunteer Program in Pulaski.
