Newspaper Obituary - Tuesday, October 13, 1998 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Irving J. Maltby, Maintenance Worker - Irving J. Maltby, 55, County Route 28, died Sunday at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, where he had been a patient since September 5. He suffered respiratory arrest as a result of septic shock. Mr. Maltby was employed in the maintenance department of the Oswego County Board of Cooperative Educational Services, Mexico. He previously was employed by the Pulaski Central School District. Born March 25, 1943, at Pulaski, a son of Jay and Ruth Clement Maltby, he graduated from Pulaski High School in 1963. Surviving are a sister, Ann Maltby, Hastings, two aunts and several cousins. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park St. Burial will be in South Richland Cemetery, Fernwood. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the Oswego County BOCES, Mexico, New York 13114.
