      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, January 5, 1994 The Post-Standard - Syracuse, New York - Sidney Ruben Shaw, 73, formerly of Richland, died December 19 in Fellsmere, Florida. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski, with the Rev. Elizabeth Mowry officiating. A calling hour will be held one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home. Surviving are his wife, Mary; three sons, Duane E. Snell, North Syracuse, Sidney J. Shaw, Sandy Creek, and Delbert J. Shaw, Redfield; five daughters, Sandra Tillison, Moravia, Sharon L. Ladouceur, Orwell, Carol Shaw, Watertown, Etta Denny, Parish, and Laura Lombardo, Central Square; 41 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harold, Pulaski, and Thomas, Brewerton, and a sister, Etta Mae Cosilman, Pulaski. Born on March 26, 1920, in Richland, Mr. Shaw retired in 1971 after 22 years with Crucible Specialty Metals, Solvay. He was a member of the Pulaski Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7289.
