Notes - Newspaper Obituary - November 26, 1984 Valley News - Florence I Root 79, formerly of Pulaski died Saturday in the Harwood Nursing Home in Oswego after a long illness. Born July 31, 1905 in Boylston. she was the daughter of Jotham E and Anna Allen Jennings She attended Pulaski schools and was a graduate of Teacher Training School She lived in Camden and Pulaski. On April 5. 1928 she married Elwin Spencer He died April 2, 1954. On Oct 7, 1955 she married Floyd Root He died April 3,1975. Mrs Root was a member of Rebecca Lodge in Pulaski and later transferred to the Camden lodge. Surviving are one sister. Mrs Bertha Johnson of Pulaski two brothers. Leland Jennings of Pulaski and Walter C Jennings of Alburquerque. NM. Graveside services were held Sunday at Dugway Cemetery with Rev Earl M Smith, pastor officiating.
