Roland "Bud" Bristol, 73, Halsey Road, formerly of Evans Mills, died Sunday at Oswego Hospital.
Mr. Bristol was a self-employed construction and demolition worker in Syracuse.
Born Oct. 16, 1928, at Pratts Hollow, son of Clifford and Amanda Jaeger Bristol, he attended Madison schools.
He married Eva Mae Rollins on March 30, 1950, in St. Augustine, Fla. She died Sept. 6, 1992.
Surviving are four daughters, Elizabeth Herman, Orwell, Brenda Curley, Culpeper, Va., Rolanda Wallis, Parish, and Tina Babcock, Pulaski; four sons, Christian, Pulaski, Gary, Gouverneur, Douglas, Parish, and Todd, Lacona.; five sisters, Fern Davis, St. Petersburg, Fla., Dorcas Graham and Debbie Marino, both of Camden, Kate Nolan, Madison, and Ruby Hafentrager, San Diego, Calif.; four brothers, Edmund, Vienna, Richard, Rome, James, North Bay, and Jack, Fredericksburg, Va., and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
An infant son, Roland Jr., died in 1952.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Spring burial will be in Maple Flats Cemetery.
A calling hour will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
