      Thomas M. Sperati, age 64, resident of Sandy Pond for 40 years, formerly of Pulaski, passed away Friday. Thomas was born December 19, 1956, in Syracuse, the son of John and Verda Mouck Sperati. They moved here in the summer of 1964, and they opened the pizza shop in February of 1969. He attended Pulaski Schools. Tom was married to Lorrie Atkinson. He was employed by Conrail CSX Railway for 36 years, retiring in 2011. He had previously worked for Acme Markets. Tom was a member of the Sandy Pond Sportsmen’s Club and Sons of American Legion in Pulaski. Surviving, are his wife, Lorrie A., his children, Thomas M. (Stacey) Sperati of Pulaski, Denice (Britini) Sperati of Central Square, John (Natalie) Francis of Pennsylvania and Aaron (Ashton) Makitra of Texas, three brothers, John Sperati of Pulaski, Donald Sperati of Mexico, and Rick Sperati of Pulaski, one sister, Vicki Richter of Sandy Pond and eight grandchildren, Jackyln, Trenton, Kado, Leela, Camie, Zoe, Grayson and Asher. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Friday, September 10th at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski, with burial at the convenience of the family. Donations may be made in Tom’s memory to the American Cancer Society. “Whatcha sed!”
