- Mrs. Mildred L. Edwards, 70, widow of Robert Edwards, Centerville, died early Sunday morning in the House of the Good Samaritan, Watertown, where she had been a patient for five weeks. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Foster funeral home, Pulaski, with Rev. Jerry Miller, pastor of Pulaski Baptist church officiating. Burial will be in Pulaski cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Surviving are a brother, Everett LaCelle and a sister, Mrs. Leroy (Leila) Coffie, both of Centerville; nieces and nephews. A sister. Miss Nina LaCelle, died Nov 25. She was born on Jan. 26, 1898 at Altmar, a daughter of Charles and Flora Reynolds LeCelle. She was a graduate of Pulaski High school, Pulaski Training class and Cortland Normal school, also she took courses at Syracuse university. She was married to Robert Edwards in 1917. He died in 1918 in World War I, and the Robert Edwards Post, American Legion, Pulaski, is dedicated to him. Mrs. Edwards taught school at Port Ontario, Happy Valley, Richland, Altmar and in the Boyd Elementary school, Solvay. Retiring in June of 1964. She was a member of Pulaski Baptist Church, the Civic Club and the Rosa Garden.
