      Newspaper Obituary - September 14, 1945 Oswego Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Mr. Ruben Gregory, 69, died at his home on the Richland road late Tuesday afternoon. He had been in poor health about three years and confined to his bed the last three weeks. He was born in the town of Worth, October 29, 1875, son of Franklin and Iva Green Gregory. He was a carpenter and farmer when able to work. He attended the Wesleyan church. He moved to Pulaski about 23 years ago, coining here from Ellisburg. Survived by his wife, three sons, Merton, Ned and Ruben Jr.; three daughters, Mrs. Thomas Shaw Sr., Mrs. Elery Jennings, and Miss Dorothy Gregory, all of Pulaski; a brother, On Gregory; 26 grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and one nephew. Three of his grandchildren are in the service, Thomas Shaw Jr. is with the Army in Burma; Sidney R. Shaw is with the Army in Germany; and Harold Shaw is in the Navy stationed at Virginia Funeral services will be Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Taylor funeral home, Rev. James N. Pauley, officiating. Burial will be at Richland Cemetery.
