Newspaper Obituary - Tuesday, September 4, 1973 The Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski - Mrs. Leta M. Johnson, 49, died unexpectedly at the family home, 7776 North Street, early Monday morning. She was the wife of Donald Johnson. Mrs. Johnson was born in Dexter October 27, 1923, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Champion and attended school at Sears Pond and Glenfield High School. On July 22, 1949 she married Mr. Johnson in Park Methodist Church here. Spending all her married life here, she was employed by the Village Yarn Shop and was a member of Park United Methodist Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Michael D., Jeffrey R., a senior at Pulaski Academy and Central School, and Bruce F. 11, all at home; a brother, Charles Champion, Central Square, and a sister, Mrs. Delos (Shirley) Clark, Camden. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, the Rev. Edwin A. Potter, pastor of Park United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in South Richland Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
