      Newspaper Obituary - April 25, 1968 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Merton L. Gregory Services Friday - Merton L. Gregory, 63, of 7128 Port Road, died suddenly Tuesday, April 16, in Good Samaritan Hospital, Watertown. Born July 12, 1905, at Worth, he was the son of Reuben and Flora Sheppard Gregory, and was educated there and in Pulaski schools. He was married January 1, 1927 to the former Leah M. Dawley, and the couple spent their entire married life in Pulaski where he was a farmer for the Douglaston Manor Farm. Mr. Gregory is survived by his wife, four sons, Merton H., of Pulaski, Ralph and Gordon of Mexico and S/Sgt. George E. Gregory of Hawaii; two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Shirley) Killam, and Mrs. John F. (Alma) Wilson, both of Pulaski; two brothers, Ned Gregory and Reuben Gregory; three sisters, Mrs. Elery (Minnie) Jennings, Mrs. Lester (Dorothy) Poole, and Mrs. Thomas (Laura) Shaw; 16 grandchildren, an Aunt, Uncle and many nephews, nieces and cousins. Funeral services were held Friday April 19 at 1:30 p.m at the Taylor Vida Funeral Home, and at 2 p.m. at Pulaski Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jerry Miller, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Richland Cemetery.
