Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, July 24, 1941 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Waterstripe Rites Held at Richland - The death of Mrs. Alice Lister Waterstripe, wife of Rev. Emerson J. Waterstripe, former residents of this vicinity, occurred at Sweet Valley, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, July 12. Before leaving here about 12 years ago Rev. Waterstripe was pastor of the Church of Christ at Richland. Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Bumise Waterstripe of Pulaski, and Glen Waterstripe of the U. S. Army, located, at Angel Island, California; two daughters, Mrs. Howard Sprague of Sidney and Mrs. Harold Britt of Baltimore; and three grandchildren, Robert and Harold Waterstripe of Pulaski and Alice Mae Britt of Baltimore. Funeral services were held last Friday from the Richland Church of Christ, Rev. Ray Williams of Sand Ridge, officiating, and burial was in Richland Cemetery. The musical selections were given by friends from Pennsylvania and the bearers were also from there.
