Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, November 23, 1977 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mrs. Leah M. Gregory, 69, 7630 Jefferson Street, passed away unexpectedly November 17, 1977 at her home. Born August 20, 1908, in the Town of Albion to Herbert and Alma Smith Dawley. She attended Parish schools. On January 1, 1927, she was married to the late Merton H. Gregory in Pulaski, living most of her married life in the Pulaski area. Mr. Gregory passed away in 1968. Surviving are four sons, Merton H., Pulaski, George E., Omaha, Nebraska, Gordon L., Oswego and Ralph E., Pulaski; two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Shirley) Kilian, Mrs. John (Alma) Wilson, both of Pulaski; 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Winfred Dawley, Kirkville and Lewis C. Dawley, Renshaw Bay, three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Green, Whitesboro, Mrs. Ida French, Pulaski, Mrs. Doris Mangus, Hastings and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral was held 1:30 p.m. November 20, 1977, at the Taylor-Vida Funeral Home and 2:00 p.m. at the Pulaski Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. A. Delgado-Barrett officiating. Burial was in Richland Cemetery, Richland.
