The funeral service for Richard E. “Dick” Mosher, Sr. 66 of 25636 Branche Road, Watertown, will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of TLC Funeral Home, Inc. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home. Internment will be private. Mr. Mosher went to be with his Lord on January 14, 2012 with his family and friends by his side.
He graduated from Watertown High School and began his career as a meat cutter at Simon Brothers and continued his career for 27 years until he retired from Barbarlich’s Supermarket. He was a lifetime member of the Great Bend Volunteer Fire Department.
He loved spending time taking trips to the casino with his wife of 46 years, Lois and his brother and sister law, Lewis (Junior) and Bev Mosher. He also enjoyed spending time with his four grandchildren, classic country music, hunting, fishing and NASCAR racing. He will be remembered for playing rhythm guitar in the band “LTD” (Lou, a nephew, Tim, and Dick) and supported the local Youth Bowling Association.
He is survived by his wife, Lois E. (Gregory) Mosher, a son and his fiance’, Richard W. Mosher, Jr. and Gay Lynn Stone of Lubbock Texas, a son and daughter in law, David E. and Vicki Mosher of West Monroe, NY, his two brothers and a sister in law, Lewis Jr. and Beverly Mosher of Watertown and James Mosher of Evans Mills, NY, 4 grandchildren, Kevin, Matthew, and Meagan Mosher of Lubbock, TX and Kyra Mosher of West Monroe, NY, and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased are a son, Kevin Dallas Mosher and his parents Lewis E. and Ruby (Foster) Mosher Sr.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to the American Diabetes Association or the Watertown Youth Bowling Association, c/o Louann Mosher, 223 Francis Street, Watertown, NY 13601.
