Newspaper Obituary - Monday, January 22, 1990 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Accident Claims Local Man's Life ¬Richland - Ronald Smith Jr. of Route 13, Altmar was charged Sunday, January 14 with leaving the scene of an incident and criminally negligent homicide following the hit-and-run death of 18-year-old David Gregory of Richland Oswego County Sheriffs deputies said the incident occurred about 3 a.m. Sunday on County Route 48, three-tenths of a mile south of Pulah Drive in Richland. Mr. Gregory, of County Route 48, a pedestrian, was struck by a northbound vehicle. The victim's body was discovered by the town highway department crew about 6 a.m. while they were plowing County Route 48. Mr. Smith was arraigned before Town Justice Inga Scott and remanded to Oswego County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash or bond. District Attorney James Grose said after Mr. Smith is assigned legal counsel 1990.
Newspaper Obituary - Monday, January 22, 1990 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Richland - David R. Gregory, 18, of County Route 48, died early Sunday, January 14 after he was hit by a car on County Route 48. He was a native of Jacksonville, Florida. He attended Pulaski High School. He was employed by Keeney's Auto Repair in Pineville. Surviving are his parents, Louis and Sharon; one step-brother, Chad Southwell of Richland; one step-sister, Sally Southwell of Richland his paternal grandmother, Oleta Trumble of Hodgenville, Kentucky; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Services were held Wednesday, January 17 at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski. Burial will be in Richland Cemetery.
