    • Flora Shepard Gregory - January 18, 1887 - June 20, 1957. Daughter of George and Flora Cummings Shepard. Wife of Reuben Russell Gregory.

      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, June 27, 1957 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mrs. R. Gregory Rites Are Held - Rites for Mrs. Flora Gregory, 70, widow of Reuben Gregory, were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Taylor Funeral Home. The Rev. W. Russell Clark, pastor of the Park Methodist Church officiated. Interment was in Richland Cemetery. Mrs. Gregory died suddenly Wednesday evening in the City Hospital at Syracuse where she had been a patient two weeks. Surviving are three sons, Merton L., Reuben R., and Ned F. Gregory, all of Pulaski; three daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Laura) Shaw, Mrs. Emery (Minnie) Jennings and Mrs. Lester (Dorothy) Poole, all of Pulaski; 37 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; a brother George H. Shepard of Pierpont Manor and a sister, Mrs. Erwin Loomis of Carthage. Mrs. Gregory was born in the Town of Sandy Creek January 18, 1887, the daughter of George and Flora Cummings Shepard. She was married to Mr. Gregory September 29, 1901, and lived in the vicinity of Ellisburg until 1919 when they came to Pulaski and operated a farm on the Richland Road. Following his death. September 11, 1945, Mrs. Gregory has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Poole, who lives in the Farmer District
