Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, April 7, 1938 Mexico Independent - Mexico, New York - Last Rites Today For Mrs. L. Mowers ¬Funeral services for Mrs. Lida True Mowers, who died at her home in Dewey's Corners, will be conducted in the funeral home of Edward J. Fish, at one o'clock this afternoon by Rev. Harold H. Barnard, pastor of the First Methodist church. Burial will be in Willis cemetery. Mrs. Mowers who had been in ill health for some time had returned to her home from Syracuse hospital only last Saturday. She was born in the town of Munnsville, December 13, 1897, daughter of Lina and Helen True. She had resided at Dewey's Corners 20 years. Surviving are her husband, Ernest Mowers, and a son, Roswell Mowers.
