LaVella B. Pizon, 90, formerly of Pulaski, died Friday at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse.
Mrs. Pizon was employed by Harris Department Store for 15 years.
Born May 21, 1915, in Sayre, Pa., daughter of Frederick and Bertha Belle Shaw, she graduated from Fulton High School.
She lived in Pulaski from 1945 until moving to Altmar in 1998 and had resided in Liverpool since January.
She married Walter Pizon on Jan. 20, 1937. He died Nov. 14, 1996.
Mrs. Pizon was a member of Pulaski United Methodist Church and the auxiliaries to Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7289 and Robert Edwards American Legion Post 358.
Surviving are a son, Edmund D., Liverpool; a daughter, Florence M. Gardner, Altmar; 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.
A daughter, Yvonne P. Trumble, died Dec. 10, 2000. A son, Robert, died in 1943.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home with the Rev. Marilyn Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
