    • Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, February 20, 1947 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Funeral services for H. Warren Colvin, 76, were held at his home on the Hogsback Road, Orwell, at 2 p. m. Wednesday by Rev. Robert Grant of the Altmar Methodist Church. Burial was in Riverside cemetery, Altmar. Mr. Colvin died at his home Saturday evening after a long illness. He was born on April 27, 1870, the son of Levi and Mary Edwards Colvin, members of pioneer families. He had been a farmer in the vicinity of Sandy Creek all his life, having lived for the past 48 years on the Colvin homestead. He married Mary Coon on Nov. 26, 1890. Surviving besides his wife are a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Cronk, Altmar; four sons, Frank, Orwell; Burt L. Lee F. and Raymond Colvin, East Syracuse; a sister, Mrs. Ora Williams, Nattawanakeag [sic], Maine; two brothers, Arthur, Pulaski, and Bitia [sic], Newcastle, Pa.; 21 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
