    • Newspaper Obituary - October 14, 1920 Sandy Creek News - Sandy Creek, New York - JOHN BYRNS - John Byrns died very suddenly at his home in Boylston, September 27, of heart disease, aged 76 years. He was very active and was feeling well for his age and was about to retire at ten o'clock when his heart gave out. He leaves besides his widow, a son, Francis Byrns of Smartville, a daughter, Mrs. Louie Latant of Sandy Creek, a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth O'Donnell of Canada and seven grand children. The funeral was largely attended at the home of his son, in Smartville, Thursday, September 30. He was layed to rest in the Wesleyan cemetery.
