    • Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, February 22, 1951 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Last Rites For Eugene Caufield - Last rites for Eugene Caufield, 78, who died Monday, February 12 at his home in East Syracuse, were held last Thursday from the Foster funeral home at 9 am. and from St. John's Catholic Church at 9:30. Interment will be made in the Pulaski cemetery in the spring. Surviving are one son, Earl J. Caufield, East Syracuse; a sister, Mrs. Anna Creighton of Rensselaer Falls; two grandsons, Cpl. Robert Caufield of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina and Donald Caufield who is in Korea, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Caufield was born in St Lawrence County, March 5, 1873, a son of Peter and Mary Ellen Driscoll Caufield. He was at one time a resident of Lehigh district but had lived in East Syracuse for many years.
