    • MRS. JAMES CAREY FUNERAL YESTERDAY
      Mrs. Mae Kiesinger Carey, 64, wife of James Carey, died Monday morning at the family home on Lake street. She was the daughter of Rev. Thomas J. and Julia Merritt Kiesinger. Born April 24, 1881, in Parish, Mrs. Carey lived many years in Sandy Creek. About 20 years ago she moved to Pulaski where she was active in Methodist church activities.
      Surviving are her husband and four sons, D.G. Carey of Pulaski, Pfc. Rex Carey with the Army Engineers in Europe, Francis Carey of East Lansing, Mich., and Pvt. J. Ward Carey, destination unknown; two daughters, Mrs. T.J. Kennedy of Liverpool and Mrs. Stanley Bennett of Minetto; also five grandchildren.
      Funeral services were held at the family home Wednesday morning.
      Burial was in Pulaski cemetery.
