- Newspaper Obituary - October 17, 1917 Patriot - Hostler - The funeral services of Mrs. Pearl Hostler, who died in Syracuse last week, were held Wednesday afternoon from the home of her sister, Mrs. Jennie Plummer, 253 West First street; interment in Mt. Adnah. She is survived by her husband, Frank Hostler; two daughters and a son; two brothers, Frank Horr and Henry Horr, and four sisters, Mrs. Jennie Plummer, Mrs Florence Kane, Mrs. Lee Shortaleeve and Miss Mina Horr, all of this city. The deceased was a former resident of this city and removed to Syracuse a few years ago.
Newspaper Obituary - Tuesday, October 9, 1917 Syracuse Journal - Death Record - Mrs. Pearl Hosler - Mrs. Pearl Hosler, 32, wife of Frank A. Hosler, died Monday night at St. Joseph's Hospital, where she had been a patient several days. Mrs. Hosler was born at Phoenix and had been a resident of this vicinity all her life. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons and on daughter; her father James Horr; three sisters, and two brothers. Carl J. Ballweg, undertaker, will take the body to Fulton tomorrow where funeral services will be held at the home of her sister at 2:30 o'clock. Burial will be at Fulton.
