      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, July 8, 1926 Sandy Creek News - Sandy Creek, New York - Mrs. Jay Wyman - The funeral of Mrs. Jay Wyman, 75, was held at the family home in Richland at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Wyman died July 3, following an illness of about one year. She was born June 19, 1851, and the town of Orwell and had lived nearly all her life in the eastern section of Oswego County. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church of Richland. Surviving besides her husband, are for sons, William Wyman of Altmar; Eugene Wyman of Binghamton; Clarence Wyman of Mount Vernon and Sherman Wyman of Long Island; two brothers, Walter and Henry Meyers of Orwell and two sisters, Mrs. A. Moore of Clayville and Mrs. Minnie Bass of Sagamore, Michigan. Rev. John MacLachlan, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church at Richland, conducted the last rites for Mrs. Wyman at the family home in Richland. Burial will be made in Richland Cemetery.
