    • Newspaper Obituary - (Source Unknown) - Franklin A. Coon - Pulaski - Franklin A. Coon, 83, of 2100 Court St., Syracuse, a native of Pulaski, died yesterday in Crouse-Irving hospital after a long illness. He had been a Syracuse resident 35 years and was a member of First Methodist church. He was connected with several businesses, but before retiring in 1952 he was associated with the Merchants National Bank & Trust Co. Mr. Coon is survived by his wife, Mrs. Leontine Coon; four nephews, Earl Coon of Watertown, Harold Coon of Fulton, Ivan Coon of Oswego, and James Chawgo of Pulaski. Services will be at 11 a. m., Thursday in the Laurence Van Dusen funeral home, 136 W. Castle St. the Rev. Dr. Albert L. Baner, pastor of the First Methodist church officiating. The nephews will act as bearers. Friends may call from 3 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. tomorrow at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.
