    • Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, October 7, 1964 Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Mrs. Walter E. Phillips - Mrs. Blanche McLaughlin Phillips, 35, wife of Walter E. Phillips, was striken ill late Tuesday evening in her home at Oswego Center and was removed to Oswego Hospital where she died shortly after midnight. Born in Oswego Town, March 6, 1879, she was the daughter of the late William and Katie Finnan McLaughlin. Mrs. Phillips was a member of Oswego Center Methodist Church and while her health permitted was active in the WSCS of the church. Surviving with her husband, are one daughter, Mrs. Reginald (Florence) Hoff of RedCreek and two sons, Earl Phillps and Walter Phillips, both of Oswego, also seven grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Friends are invited to attend funeral services Friday at 2 p.m. at the Dain funeral home. Burial will be in Rural cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are this evening from 7 to 9 and Thursday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Phillips family request that contributions may be made to the Heart Fund.
