- Thelma Hastings, 76, Pulaski, formerly of Williamstown, died Sunday in Community General Hospital, Syracuse.
Mrs. Hastings lived in Williamstown for most of her life, moving to Pulaski in October 2003. She and her husband, Ralph H., operated Hastings Store, Williamstown, for 18 years.
She was a member of Hastings-Gorski American Legion, Williamstown.
Born May 17, 1929, in Pulaski, daughter of Glen and Alice Trumble Muir, she attended Altmar schools.
She married Mr. Hastings on Feb. 5, 1946. He died Feb. 2, 2004.
Surviving are four sons, Gary R. and Ronald S., both of Highland, Daniel G., Williamstown, and John W. "Duffer," Westdale; two daughters, Elaine B. Hastings, West Edmeston, and Alice L. Ford, Oswego; a sister, Beulah Steinfeld, Pulaski; her companion, Bernard Quackenbush, Pulaski; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home with the Rev. William Bryant officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown.
Calling hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
