    • Newspaper Obituary - (Source Unknown) - Winona Linnarz Murphy died of cancer on January 23, 2000 at her home in Sandy, Utah. She was 82. She was born March 6, 1917 in Salt Lake City. Her parents were Otto J. Linnarz and Lily Salin Linnarz. She attended Salt Lake City schools and graduated from West High School in 1935. She was an active member of the LDS Church. She married Keith C. Murphy March 6, 1937 in McGill, Nevada, where they made their home. Their marriage was solemnized in the St. George Temple May 29, 1965.She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her step father, five brothers, and one sister. She is survived by her son, Alan Murphy (Janet) Bountiful; her daughter, Denice Barainca (John) Sandy; her brother, Lawrence Stewart (Lillian) Oceanside, California; ten grandchildren, and 30 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 28, 2000, 12 noon at the Larkin Mortuary Chapel (260 East South Temple), where friends may call Thursday evening 6-8 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to services. Interment Salt Lake City Cemetery.
