      Helen L. Pilon, 79, of 1400 Simeon-DeWitt Apartments died Friday at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital, Syracuse.

      Mrs. Pilon was a life resident of Oswego. She was the widow of Frederick Pilon.

      Surviving are five daughters, Ann Fox of Syracuse, Linda Edwards of Cincinnati, Patricia Murray and Susan Pilon, both of Oswego, and Jill Dowalewski of Cortland; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

      Memorial services will be at 9 a.m. today in St. Louis Church. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.

      Dowdle Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
