    • NEWSPAPER OBITUARY - Tuesday, August 19, 1964 The Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski - George Moore, 70, of Glenn Avenue, died unexpectedly Sunday at Tucumcari hospital, Tucumcari, New Mexico. He was en route to Arizona with his daughter to visit a grandson, George Lawton. Born June 10, 1894 in Daysville, he was the son of Dennis and Louise King Moore. He lived in the Pulaski area since 1913, and owned and operated a farm before moving to Glen Avenue 15 years ago. His wife, the former Susan Piddock, died May 5. Mr. Moore attended Pulaski Baptist church. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Lawton and Mrs. James Harrington of Richland, and Mrs. Robert Bortles of Phoenix; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Taylor funeral home, Pulaski, the Rev. Gerald Jones, pastor of First Baptist church, officiating. Burial will be in Daysville cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
