    • Newspaper Obituary - August 17, 1985 Syracuse Post Standard - Syracuse, New York - Alice M Potter - RICHLAND - Alice M. Potter, 68, of Potter Road, Richland RD, died Thursday at Oswego Hospital. Mrs. Potter was born in Albion. She graduated from Pulaski Academy and the Albany Business College. She was employed by Blount Lumber Co., Lacona, and later by Fulton Boiler Works. Pulaski. She was a member of the Orwell Union Church, where she was a member of Da Ikeu Ciass. She was also a member of the Russell-Tryon Legion Post 1435 auxiliary, where she served as chaplain. Surviving are her husband, Earl D.; two sons, Albert L. of Manlius and David J. of Pulaski; three daughters, Ann M. Hagadorn of Syracuse, Barbara J. Mousaw of Clemmons, N.C. and Ellen E. Potter of Rochester; and a foster child, Ralph Steele of Oswego; two brothers, Albert S. Mattison and Samuel O. Mattison, both of Richland; a sister, Frances M. Hoenaw of Pulaski; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Monday in the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski, with the Rev. Jeremy Duncan officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Orwell. Friends may call 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Organ Fund of the Orwell Union Church.
