  Newspaper Obituary - November 21, 1988 Pulaski Democrat - Lucy E. Morse - PULASKI - Graveside services for Lucy E. Morse, 83, of Mud Springs Road, Black Canyon City, Ariz., and formerly of Pulaski, who died Wednesday, Nov. 9 at Phoenix General Hospital, Phoenix, were held in Pleasant Lawn Cemetery, Parish. She was born in Osceola. She moved to Black Canyon City in 1957. Mrs. Morse attended the town of Osceola schools. She was first married to Ralph Currier in 1922 and later married Charles Morse. Surviving fire four sons, Owen Currier, Robert Currier and John Currier, all or Pulaski, and Ralph Currier of Osceola; two daughters, Ruth Reynolds of Osceola and Marsha Mershinski of Florida; two brothers Oren Colvin of Commerce City, Colo, and Lynn Colvin of Jackson, Miss.; a sister, Gertrude Castetter of Pulaski; 17 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Morse, 83, Star Route, Mud Springs Road, Black Canyon City, Ariz., formerly of Pulaski, died Wednesday in Phoenix (Ariz.) General Hospital. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Pleasant Lawn Cemetery, Parish, with Rev. Earl M. Smith officiating. Arrangements are with the Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Surviving are four sons, Owen Currier, Robert Currier and John Currier, all of Pulaski, and Ralph Currier, Osceola; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Reynolds, Osceola, and Marsha Mershinski, Florida; 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Oren Calvin, Commerce City, Colo., and Lynn Calvin, Jackson, Miss.; a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Castetter, Pulaski, and nieces and nephews. Born in Osceola on Nov. 10, 1904, a daughter of William and Marsha Clemons Calvin, she attended schools in the Town of Osceola. Her first marriage was to Ralph Currier. She later married Charles Morse. He died in 1965.
