- ALICE C. MUIR, ALTMAR NATIVE, DIES AT AGE 84

Alice C. Muir, 84, of Cox Road, died Tuesday in Oswego Hospital.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski, with the Rev. Donald Wiltse officiating. Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Dugway.
Calling hours were scheduled for 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Surviving are a son, Vernon A., Sebastian, Fla.; two daughters, Thelma A. Hastings, Williamstown, and Beulah J. Steinfeld, Fernwood; 27 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Ivan Trumble, Williamstown; and three sisters, Dora Downing, Auburn, and Fannie Draper and June Stowell, both of Altmar.
Two sons, Glenn and James, died in 1985 and 1931, respectively.
Born April 27, 1910, in Altmar, a daughter of Charles and Beulah Waite Trumble, she married Glenn F. Muir on Nov. 15, 1926. The couple resided in Altmar and moved to Williamstown in 1972. Mr. Muir died on Oct. 13, 1979.
Mrs. Muir was a member of Dugway United Methodist Church and the Williamstown Senior Citizens.
