    • Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, July 17, 1985 Syracuse Herald Journal - Roland A. McGann Roland A. McGann, 88, of 110 Gray Ave. died Tuesday at Van Duyn Home and Hospital. A native of Phoenix, Mr. McGann resided most of his life in Syracuse. He retired from the Syracuse School District as a custodian. Mr. McGann was a member of Warners United Methodist Church. Surviving are a sister, Eva Hickox of Brewerton; a brother, Raymond of Manlius; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, the Rev. Kenneth Hockenberry officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt. Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. today (July 17).
