      Jacob W. Spriggel
      Mexico, NY - Jacob W. Spriggel, Aged 83, passed away Saturday afternoon at Oswego County Sanatorium Orwell, where he had been a patient nearly two years.
      Mr. Spriggel, the son of Jacob and Elizabeth Spidler Spriggel, was born April 28, 1872, in Cuyahoge, Ohio.
      He has lived in Mexico since 1927, where he was employed as a gardner.
      He was a member of the Mexico Methodist Church.
      Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Cole Spriggel of Mexico; on brother Henry Spriggel; one sister, Mrs. Sarah Ritzman, both of Monroe Falls, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews.
      The body was removed to Miner Funeral Home where funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock with the Rev Robert E Pennock, paster of the Mexico Methodist Church officiating. Thursday day morning, Mr. Miner took the body to Deseronto, Canada for interment.
