    • Newspaper Obituary - July 13, 1972 Cayuga Chief Chronicle - Frederick Horr Sr. - Aurelius - Frederick Horr, Sr., husband of Mrs. Catherine Ganier Horr of Basswood Road died unexpectedly July 1 at his home. Born in the Town of Mentz, he had resided in Aurellus for 41 years. He was a retired employee of Auburn Plastics. Surviving besides his wife are a daughter, Mrs. James Driscoll, Auburn; two sons, Frederick Horr, Jr., of Point Reyes Station, Calif., and Phillip E. Horr of Aurelius; two sisters, Mrs. John J. Moose of Port Byron and Mrs. James McFarren of Throop; a brother, Laverne Horr of Port Byron; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services were 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Langham Funeral Home. The Rev. Edward Hamblin, pastor of Fosterville United Methodist Church, officiated. Burial was in Pine Hill Cemetery, Throop.
