Newspaper Obituary - Tuesday, March 2, 1993 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Charles H. Hutchinson Dies At His Home - Charles H. Hutchinson, 78, of County Route 22, died Monday at his home. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski, with the Rev. Janet Gibbs officiating. Spring burial will be in Richland Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Surviving are a son, Paul, Pulaski; two daughters, Sallyanne Finster, Ricard, and Barbara Mellen, Orwell; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Charlotte Stevens, Syracuse, Ethel Starring, Mottville, and Phinney Pickford, Phoenix; a half-brother, Robert, Camden; three half-sisters, Jean Foster, Lacona, Cathy Roberts, Cato, and Carol Gareau, Pulaski; and his stepmother, Leah Hutchinson, Pulaski. Born in Woodville, December 7, 1914, a son of Matchurne and Lulu Shavor Hutchinson, he married Gwendolyn P. Morris April 3, 1938. She died in 1990. Mr. Hutchinson lived in Orwell since 1916 and was employed 25 years by Carrier Corp., Syracuse, retiring in 1976. He was previously employed by Rome Cable Co. for 10 years and was also a farmer, logger and carpenter.
