Kathryn E. Fox Spencer, 81, of 202 Meadowview Apartments, Central Square, formerly of Pulaski, died Tuesday at State University of New York Health Science Center, Syracuse.
Mrs. Spencer lived in Pulaski before moving to Central Square in the early 1980s. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pulaski American Legion Auxiliary.
She enjoyed reading.
Born Feb. 11, 1917, at Syracuse, daughter of Wilbur and Catherine Gorman Fox, she attended Pulaski Academy through the eighth grade. A marriage to Howard Fisher ended in divorce. She later married William E. Spencer. He died in 1974.
Surviving are two daughters, Jean Anson, Lakeland, Fla., and Kolleen "Kye' Carista, West Monroe; four sons, Howard Fisher, Boston, Mass., Daniel Fisher, Constantia, Ted Spencer, Richland, and Todd Spencer, Palermo; two sisters, Mary DeLong, Pulaski, and Emma Webber, Watertown; 13 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A sister, Mabel A. Weisenburger, died Feb. 5, 1997. Another sister, Alice M. Moot, died Aug. 19, 1994. A brother, Fay William Fox, also died before her.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Watson Funeral Home, 631 S. Main St., Central Square. Burial will be in West Monroe Cemetery.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
